Forzinity:

Designed to fit into daily routines

What do I need to know before the first injection?

FORZINITY is a subcutaneous injection taken once a day, which means it needs to be injected between the skin and muscle around the same time each day

Once you receive FORZINITY from the specialty pharmacy, store new vials upright in the refrigerator. Do not freeze vials.

  • When you're ready to prepare the first injection, take a new vial from the refrigerator and have it sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes
  • Don’t use if the liquid is discolored or cloudy, or if the liquid has lumps, flakes, or particles

Once a vial has been opened, it can stay at room temperature (you don't need to return the vial to the refrigerator).

  • Throw away the vial 8 days after first
    opening it

Because FORZINITY is a subcutaneous injection, it needs to be injected around the same time each day.

  • If you miss a dose, don’t inject a double dose the next day. Instead, continue with the prescribed amount at your next scheduled time

Make sure to rotate the injection spot each day.

  • It can be helpful to use a calendar or a journal to keep track of the injection sites
Keep in mind that FORZINITY injections may be different from other injected medicines.

Read the Instructions for Use for more information.
